Who we are looking for
Tolgee is expanding its reach into new ecosystems—iOS, Android, Figma, Unreal, CMS systems, and beyond. We need an Integration Engineering Lead who can own the strategy and execution of these integrations end-to-end. You’ll balance hands-on coding with roadmap planning, resource allocation, and community collaboration, ensuring every integration feels first-class and stays true to Tolgee’s product vision.
What you'll be doing
Defining the integration roadmap – identify high-impact platforms/tools, prioritize effort, and keep stakeholders aligned.
Building & maintaining integrations – write production-ready code (Kotlin/Spring for backend updates, plus platform-specific SDKs/plugins) and set coding standards for contributors.
Managing resources – decide when to code it yourself, delegate to internal teammates, or spin up external freelancers/OSS contributors.
Ensuring architectural alignment – collaborate with core backend and DevRel to keep integrations consistent with Tolgee’s API, security model, and developer experience guidelines.
Creating clear specs & documentation – provide reference implementations, sample projects, and API contracts for every integration.
Tracking quality & adoption – own KPIs like install counts, build success rates, issue resolution time, and user satisfaction surveys.
Evangelizing best practices – share learnings via blog posts, conference talks, and community calls, showcasing how integrations unlock value for developers.
